About Jake

Since I can remember, I have always been an honorary member of a real estate team. As a youth, I remember playing with a toy Caterpillar backhoe, running underneath the real estate signs in the office that my grandmother Carol, a real estate agent, and grandfather Bob, a contractor, worked out of in small town Kankakee, Illinois. There was a project to work on, a construction site to visit, pre-sunrise breakfasts at small town diners, homes to be sold, and people visiting for church, work, or otherwise. From outside the movie theater, to every construction site, in every restaurant, and every grocery store, my grandparents seemingly knew everybody. Shoot, we would roll up to the driveway at Wendy's and my grandfather would roll down the window and order us a "Bob Burger" while we ate Frosty's in the back seat. To me, my grandparents were famous. In the subconscious of my mind, real estate had been calling to me softly, slowly pushing me in her direction for years and years. And so, in following in the footsteps of my grandma Carol, I became a REALTOR for Keller Williams Realty.
