1. Tell us about your property

Start with your address. We try to find property details so you can check them. Add your home's condition and selling timeline. Photos and a phone number are optional. We use your email to send updates about the request.

2. Compare available estimates

We look for estimates from Zillow, Redfin, and Homes.com. Coverage varies by address. A report can include one provider, several providers, or no value estimate. The report identifies each available source. Retrieval dates show when we collected the data, which may differ from the date of the provider's estimate. We show each provider's own estimate and do not combine them into a HomeFunnel number.

3. Understand what the numbers mean

When several estimates are available, we show their lowest and highest values. This is a comparison of provider estimates, not a predicted sale-price range or a measure of confidence. These providers may rely on similar underlying records. Agreement does not prove accuracy. Historical estimates are shown as supplied by the source.

4. See the local market

Your report can include figures for your metro area, such as typical home values and how long homes take to sell. These figures describe the whole area. They are context, not an estimate for your home.

5. Add local context before setting a price

Renovations, condition, unusual features, and recent neighborhood sales can affect a home's value. Your form answers do not automatically adjust the provider estimates. A real estate agent can prepare a comparative market analysis using recent comparable sales. For a formal valuation, consult a qualified appraiser.

6. Choose whether to request an introduction

Your valuation request is free and does not require an agent introduction. You can ask HomeFunnel to email you about meeting a local agent. We will ask for your agreement before sharing your contact details with an agent. HomeFunnel may receive payment for an introduction. Agent availability varies by market.

An automated estimate is not an appraisal, a lending decision, or an offer to buy your home. We do not publish an accuracy claim without validation against completed sales. Contact us if property details appear incorrect.
