About Kara Watkins

I grew up in Northern California in a family of seven. My father is a native San Diegan, and both he my grandparents have been in the real estate business for over 50 years. It was a natural decision to follow in their footsteps in the real estate field. I find that I am naturally enthusiastic about where I live and work. San Diego is one of the finest places in the world and I am blessed to be a part of this community and to have had success in this rewarding industry. I am a graduate from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and earned a BA in Communications and Minor in Global Economics. While attending school, I received title as an All-American Waterpolo player. I was also a member of the United States Women’s National Water polo team, which won the Pan American games in 1996, in Cuba. I am a lover of the ocean and hit the surf every chance I get. My motto is that having balance is the key to being successful in both work and life. Personally devoted to each client, my focus is on one-on-one availability and high-touch connection throughout the buying and selling process. My business is built on relationships. I value this business and I am here to take the best personal care of my clients and put them at ease, providing them with the information they need and protecting their interests.
