Mackenzie brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial experience, housing expertise, and deep Sacramento roots to real estate. After owning a business from 2008 to 2020, she adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic by earning her Master's Degree from California State University, Sacramento in 2022. That same year, she began a career in state service, leading major housing and student support initiatives statewide. Her work has advanced rapid rehousing programs and affordable student housing projects supported by more than $1.2 billion in public investment bonds. She also served as assistant proxy on the California Interagency Council on Homelessness from 2022 to 2025. While her career evolved, real estate remained a lifelong goal. Housing has always been at the center of her work, and becoming a Realtor was a natural step toward helping others achieve homeownership. Mackenzie's passion is rooted in both professional expertise and personal experience. She and her husband purchased a fixer-upper in a more affordable county, transformed it through sweat equity, and used that investment to move back to their childhood neighborhood in Sacramento. That journey deepened her appreciation for homeownership, generational wealth, and helping first-time buyers build long-term financial success. A fourth-generation Sacramentan, Mackenzie offers clients extensive local knowledge and a deep connection to the region. She has a special appreciation for Sacramento's architecture, historic neighborhoods, and builders like the Streng Brothers and Carter Sparks. She loves the Sacramento region for its quality of life, from the American River Parkway and farm-to-fork dining to easy access to Napa, Sonoma, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, and Reno. After traveling extensively, she still believes there's no better place to call home.
