Morningstar Realty® is the creation of husband and wife team Peter & Martine Lusby. As new immigrants to the US from Europe, they made their initial foray into the Southern California real estate market in 1979, when they bought their first home – a 2 bedroom condo close to Orange County’s South Coast Plaza, using the creative financing technique known as an AITD. Over the next 20 or so years, through subsequent transactions as homeowners and investors, they experienced just about every way possible to purchase and finance real estate in California with the exception of VA financing, which they of course would never qualify for. At the turn of the century they decided to take the plunge, move away from their successful careers, Martine as a college professor and Peter as the technical director of a multi-million dollar defense contractor producing artificial intelligence software, and work towards devoting themselves full time to their real estate operations. Real estate agent licenses came in 2001, followed by broker licenses in 2006 and 2007. Then in 2008, Morningstar Realty was born. Our Mission Statement: Our philosophy is simple: we provide “Good And Faithful Service“. We bring our more than 30 years experience in every aspect of real estate in California to the service of our clients, to save them the pain and disappointments that we lived through over and over again on our way to who we are today. We believe in helping you find creative solutions to the problems that inevitably trouble the largest financial transaction you will ever make. We are experts at dealing with lenders in short-sale and foreclosure situations, and we work with a variety of different loan sources to put you into the mortgage scenario that works best for your circumstances.
