About Michele
So a little bit about me: What I do: I have been a Realtor for 17 years. I work with both buyers and sellers of residential property. I work with first time buyers, sellers, and investors. I work service most of Solano County and parts of Napa County and parts of southern Yolo County. Who am I: I was born in Rochester, Minnesota. I lived there for 6 years and then my family moved to Grand Island, New York which is an island in the middle of the Niagara River and it is located between Niagara Falls and Buffalo, NY. Yes, it is cold in the winter and humid in the summer. I attended a local community college and received my AS in Business Administration. I worked hard while attending college and paid for school myself. I started my own business called Something Irish, which was an Irish import store. I did it all from stocking the shelves to ordering and waiting on customers. Then I met a wonderful man named Greg Duffy and we decided to get married. After we were married a little over a year, we moved to Frankfort, Germany to work as private contractors with the military under the Chaplaincy with dependents of military personal in Junior and Senior High School. It was a good time and a stressful time. We were there during the first conflict with Iran called Desert Shield and Desert Storm. We watched and helped the students deal with the uncertainties that were all around them, with parent(s) being deployed to some of them being sent state side to be with other family members. We were there for about 20 months. From there we moved back to Upstate New York and after a few years decided that we were tired of the snow and cold weather so we packed it all up along with 2 little children and moved to sunny California and we have been here ever since. Through all of these different jobs and places I have been, I have learned a lot of different things. Like, life can be fun at times, and stressful at other times, and how to deal with people where there are in life. And when you are either selling your home or looking for a home, that time can be stressful, fun and anywhere in between. It is a bumpy ride at times, but I enjoy the final destination and the smiles, and sometimes tears, on my client’s faces when the transaction is done and they are now moving on with their new adventure.
