About Steve

Steve Maderious is the broker and owner of Acacia Creek Realty. A Sonoma County native, Steve became truly familiar with the various locations and features of Sonoma and Marin Counties and the Bay Area as a whole while working as an EMT on an ambulance as a younger man. After the last ambulance company he worked for had to close its doors, he decided to pursue a lifelong goal of working in real estate. He took an opportunity to train as a real estate appraiser for a year, then transitioned into residential real estate sales when he was offered a position with a small brokerage in Marin County. After working as an agent for several years, learning the REO business inside and out and gaining extensive experience and training in Short Sale, Probate and traditional real estate transactions, he decided the time was right to start his own brokerage. Drawing upon his fond memories of growing up in the countryside of Sonoma County, he founded Acacia Creek Realty with the goal of providing great service to a select few clients at any one time. The goal of many agents and brokerages is to get as many clients as possible, resulting in poor responsiveness, inattention to detail and a general lack of follow through on the part of the frazzled agent, and ultimately a less than ideal experience for the client. Agents for Acacia Creek Realty are paid a higher percentage of the total commission for each transaction than most other agents in the area, and are therefore able to focus their attention on fewer clients and provide a higher level of service than most other brokerages can offer.
