How does one say “I love real estate because I get to help people” without having it sound like a total cliché? Since I can’t think of another specific saying, here are 8 reasons why I love working in multifamily investment real estate. 1. Being one of the few women in my field. I think there are less than 5. I wish I was kidding. 2. Having the opportunity to learn the industry from my dad, one of the most intelligent brokers in San Diego. 3. Dealing with death is hard. Selling property your family member has left you in charge of can be even harder. Trusting a commercial realtor not to take advantage of your situation, nearly impossible. I’ve worked with several trustees helping them sell inherited property. Ensuring they get top dollar and don’t have to worry about being taken advantage of, is one of the favorite parts of my job. 4. Helping friends & clients realize they can improve their financial situation through minor (or major) real estate changes 5. Experiencing different neighborhoods. Although I'm a native I love getting out and about. Also, San Diego is pretty awesome. 6. Super cliché, but I love meeting new people. 7. Buying your first rental property can be slightly complex. I can make it easier. 8. Real Estate is just awesome! I love seeing different spaces and the potential.
