About Upasna

There I was, a young well-educated and accomplished law student who had recently immigrated to the United States confronted with a Hobson’s choice; one that would require me to abandon my desire for helping people through my power of knowledge. I had an outstanding legal training pedigree. I had completed three years of law education and was one of the top-ranked students in the Department of Law and had recently returned from a Law exchange program where I had represented India having been selected by the Indian Government. Once I arrived in Cincinnati, Ohio I attempted to continue my legal training in hopes of becoming an attorney. However, I learned that my accrued law credits would not transfer to law schools in the United States; this is because American Law is discernibly distinct. The only option open to me was to start law school all over again or capitalize on my Bachelor of Commerce degree. In a quandary, I began planning a future beyond the realms of my legal experience. Executing my single option, I quickly attained my series 7 and 63 licenses and began working as a Nasdaq Broker at Fidelity Investments. In the ensuing years, I was highly successful in a series of financial advisor roles and several management positions; I also earned multiple accolades from the various companies that employed me. For me, however, working with numbers remained devoid of passion, even though I possessed a strong skill working with them. Then, thirteen years later, I was provided with an opportunity that offered me the power of choosing a new career path. That of embarking on a new career path, a decision not borne out of necessity. That I would be a Realtor! My love of meeting people from various walks of life and listening to their journeys in which I would play an important role mesmerized me. My passion working as a Realtor was evident from the very beginning; I was the Top Agent in my first year. I guide my clients in attaining their dream homes through my expertise in understanding their expectations. My in-depth knowledge of the fluctuating market helps me get the best deals and homes for my clients. Real estate had revived my desire and ambition of making my community happier. My reward is seeing my clients walking into their homes with beaming smiles? The same skill set – analysis and research – that was definitive in my educational background established a stable and productive cornerstone for my business pursuits. I have built a robust career in real estate based on the skills that I developed in my previous job as a financial manager. I successfully grew a customer-built sphere and was effective in communicating with and helping people. My advice was always thoroughly researched, and I knew my financial numbers. More importantly, I have ever presented a criterion level of professionalism in all my business duties. All these traits contribute to my success as a Realtor®. However, tenaciously pursuing my goals is the one characteristic that I have always had; I show the same persistence for achieving my client’s objective. I always put the client’s need first.
