Alison Forbes is a professional real estate advisor specializing in relocation and international sales and contributes a worldly tenacity to Stockworth Realty Group. After living abroad for over 14 years, Alison has experienced relocating firsthand and knows of the challenges that inevitably arise with any type of move. During your transition, she is prepared to help you alleviate as much stress as possible. Relationships matter in this line of business and Alison truly enjoys helping clients with the sale or purchase of their home. Alison’s mission is to provide the finest real estate service based on the highest standards of ethics, values and client care, earning the loyalty and trust of each client. Alison has the knowledge to help you make the right move, whether it be buying, selling or investing. Over the past 2 years, she has helped close over 10 million dollars in real estate here in Central Florida. Prior to joining Stockworth, Alison assisted in the sale of approximately 5 million of real estate in just 8 months at a national show home organization where she managed beautifully staged luxury homes for potential buyers. She is a member of ORRA, FAR, NAR and the Worldwide ERC. She is also Luxury certified and holds a variety of real estate designations and certifications. Alison hails from Georgia, but has traveled many places with her husband who served as a defense contractor alongside the RAF, the HAF and the US Armed Forces. She has moved a total of 17 times! She has had the privilege of living in England, Germany, Greece, and let’s not forget the great state of TEXAS! While living in Germany, she would liaise with local estate agents (Immobilienmakler) to help expatriates obtain homes and become more familiar with local customs. Prior to moving to Germany, Alison worked for the Trammell Crow Company in their industrial, office and retail sales divisions, as well as their property management & leasing division. She is a Florida Military Specialist and through her encounters over the years with a variety of military personnel, Alison developed a kinship for the military family. After having to manage her own household during her husband’s three deployments to Afghanistan, she recognized the struggles that military spouses endure. This and many other experiences inspired her to obtain her Military Relocation Professional designation. Alison enjoys the bright Florida sunshine, days out on the Butler Chain of Lakes, or short trips to the beach with family and friends. Her interests include art, music, photography, softball, tennis and theatre. She is extremely involved in the community, participating in a variety of non-profits, charitable and civic organizations including the Second Harvest Food Bank, Young Professionals Network, and First Baptist Orlando. Together, Alison and her husband, Josh, reside in beautiful Windermere, Florida with their four children and absolutely love its small-town charm. The Forbes even host two foreign exchange students during the school year! In her spare time, you will most likely find Alison cheering on her kids from the sidelines of a multitude of sporting events, such as baseball, football, soccer, lacrosse, cross country and wrestling matches.
