I’ve been a licensed Florida real estate professional since 2009 and have spent most of my adult life working in Gainesville, Newberry and Alachua. I’m the J half of Team JL at Watson Realty Corp., alongside Jason Leverette. My experience is rooted in residential sales, new construction and helping people make sense of a market that can feel very different from one neighborhood to the next. I’m especially passionate about helping buyers understand the things a listing page can’t tell them. How a neighborhood actually feels. What the commute is like at 8 a.m. Where people really shop, eat and spend their weekends. How west Gainesville differs from downtown, or Newberry from Alachua, even when they’re only a short drive apart. New construction is a big part of what I do. I enjoy helping buyers compare homes and communities, understand the building process, and make confident decisions from the early planning stages through closing. I’ve lived in the Gainesville area for about 20 years, including nearly a decade in Newberry. Today, my family’s life is rooted here through school, church, sports, local businesses and the everyday routines that make a place feel like home. My approach to real estate is straightforward: give people useful information, answer questions honestly, point out the things they may not know to ask, and never make the process more complicated than it needs to be.
