About Brett

Even my earliest core memories involve Real Estate and sales in general. My father was a Real Estate agent and spent his entire life in sales. I would often come home and hear his exciting “war stories” around the dinner table, and I quickly became inspired to follow in his footsteps. Originally from upper Michigan, I spent many years working as a project manager at a nuclear facility, where I was responsible for about 200 employees. I also worked there as a corporate director in compliance and investigations. These roles taught me the importance of trust, impeccable attention to detail, working with every type of personality, and, above all, how to sell effectively. When I decided to continue what my father started by becoming a Realtor myself, I couldn’t have chosen a better place to do it than sunny South Florida! I’ve been a proud resident of Palm City for more than 20 years and have incredibly deep knowledge of both Martin and St. Lucie Counties. A people person through and through, I love the thrill of the sale and the joy of seeing the happiness and satisfaction on my clients’ faces when they turn the key to their brand-new home. My previous background in investigations helps immensely with the research involved in Real Estate, while my lifetime of sales experience has helped me develop into a strong and confident negotiator. When I’m not working, you can find me enjoying the outdoors with my children and dogs, as well as my wife and Real Estate teammate, Lady, who is also a Realtor here at ECHO. I love boating and relaxing at one of the Treasure Coast’s many glistening sandy beaches! It’s certainly a far cry from the bitter blizzards of Michigan during the winter months—I can enjoy the ocean in my swim trunks in January!
