About Carlos

Carlos Morean is the President and CEO of MORE Capital Partners, a Real Estate Investment firm specialized in Multifamily and Commercial Real Estate as well as Tech Start-ups in real estate and fintech angel investor. Carlos has over 25 years of experience in Banking in finance including being Vice President of HSBC Bank USA and Resident Vice-President at Citibank Venezuela. He started his career in 1994 as an intern at Citibank Venezuela Corporate and Investment Banking group working full time while he was in college. He was the youngest at the bank to be appointed a Credit Officer of the Credit Committee. In 2003, Morean moved to Miami to pursue his second masters degree and Joined HSBC Bank USA Premier banking team in 2004 where he was among the top relationship managers in the country. In 2008 he successfully transitioned into management acting as Branch manager at the Coral Gables Branch and later he became the Senior Sales Manager in charge of the Latin American Premier Center. At HSBC he received several awards and recognitions including HSBC Culture Hero Award, Premier Relationship manager of the year, Branch Manager of the year, National Sales Excellence award 8 times among others. In 2016 Carlos became the Chief Business Officer at Nodus International Bank in Puerto Rico for a year and then he transitioned to the Real Estate Investment industry at Newgard Development Capital division. He is as a founding investor of Hostiing.com, the holding company of Niido.com and Natiivo.com powered by Airbnb. Morean’s business acumen is balanced by an equally strong passion for music, media, entertainment and the arts. A proud admirer and supporter of the arts, he co-hosted the Venezuelan Business Club’s weekly radio show “VBC RADIO” on Union Radio Actualidad 1020 AM. He was also featured on CNN en Español as a spokesperson for HSBC Premier’s launch. In addition, he served as a member of the Miami Symphony Orchestra’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee by invitation of Maestro Eduardo Marturet. Previously Morean served and a Member of the Board of Director of the Venezuelan Business Club and worked closely with the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce to serve the community to connect with other co-national and promote business among Venezuelans. He earned two Masters Degrees: an Executive MBA from the University of Miami School of Business and a Master in Finance from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administracion IESA in Caracas, Venezuela. More recently he completed the Certificate in Leadership at the Jack Welsh Management University and The Soul of Leadership from Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University leaded by Deepak Chopra, Startup Funding for Entrepreneurs (University of Maryland) and Real Estate Investment Certificate (NYU), He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in business administration and management from the Universidad J.M. Vargas, in Caracas, Venezuela.
