About Courtney

For Courtney Smith, real estate is about connection first. Sincerity and empathy are two personal characteristics he is expressly motivated by, and he works hard to maintain that positive reputation. When Courtney first meets a new client, he takes the time to consider their individual perspective. What is driving their decision to enter the real estate market, what are their goals, and what needs to happen to best meet those goals? Courtney trusts that the right and desirable result is within reach, especially when supported by the best-in-industry Compass network and team. His faith in the process, the people, and the outcome is genuine, and will give you the confidence that you’ve picked the right partner. Each day is an opportunity in a real estate market like Northeast Florida. Whether your priority is waterfront, urban, or wide open spaces, there’s something for you. It is a market that stays consistently strong, pulling new full-time and seasonal residents from all corners of the country. For Courtney, every part of the process is exciting. Clients take precedence, but also important are relationships with other agents and industry representatives. Originally from Springfield, Illinois, Courtney currently lives in St. Johns with his wife and his two children. He keeps up an active, work-hard-play-hard lifestyle, coaching his kids’ soccer teams, and taking advantage of trips to the beach, time spent outdoors, and weekend getaways. Always acting with integrity, Courtney is proud to be a positive figure for his children, and a reliable trusted partner for his real estate clients.
