I’m Desiree Carlson, a Central Florida REALTOR® with RE/MAX Heritage Professionals, helping buyers and sellers throughout Polk County and surrounding Central Florida communities. I bring experience from both sides of the real estate transaction. Before focusing on residential real estate, I worked in the title and closing industry, giving me valuable insight into what happens from contract through closing and the ability to spot potential issues before they become bigger problems. My experience includes residential sales, first time homebuyers, relocation, new construction, investment and short term rental properties, land, assumable mortgages, and more complex transactions. I’m a strong negotiator, a hands on problem solver, and I believe my clients should understand exactly what’s happening throughout their transaction, not just be told where to sign. For sellers, I combine local market knowledge with modern marketing strategies, including professional property positioning, social media, video marketing, targeted digital exposure, and search optimized content designed around how buyers are finding homes today. For buyers, I go beyond simply opening doors. I help my clients evaluate value, compare communities, understand inspections, financing, insurance, HOA and CDD costs, new construction incentives, and negotiate terms that protect their interests.
