Before earning his Florida real estate license with Avenew Realty in 2026, Juan spent 10 years in property and casualty insurance claims, public adjusting, and construction — selling and managing projects in roofing, solar systems, HVAC, and windows and doors. Juan serves buyers, sellers, and investors across Miami-Dade and Broward County, with deep focus in Aventura, Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Surfside, Miramar, Hollywood, Dania Beach, Pembroke Pines, Weston, and Doral. He works both residential and commercial transactions, with particular strength in condos and multi-family properties like duplexes and fourplexes. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Millenia Atlantic University, along with a CAM (Community Association Manager) license, solar systems certification, Public Adjuster license, and Health Insurance license, a combination that lets him speak knowledgeably to HOA budgets, insurance costs, and building health, not just square footage and finishes. He is also QuickBooks-certified, giving investor clients a partner who understands the numbers behind the deal. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Juan serves one of the most diverse buyer and seller markets in the country in their own language. Juan works in partnership with his wife and fellow Realtor, Solange Astudillo, who comes from a family of real estate professionals, together they give clients the coverage and perspective of a two-person team. The couple lives in Sunny Isles Beach with their two dogs and is expecting their first child, a boy, later this year.
