About Ken
Ken and Karen moved from Minneapolis to Punta Gorda in 2002 and began their real estate careers in 2003. Previously they were both at management levels in the financial industry holding positions in banking, computer services and the insurance/ employee benefit arenas. They are active in the community with various boating organizations, TEAM Punta Gorda, and the two local Chambers of Commerce. Professionally, they are involved in the real estate industry at both the local and state levels. Karen is a Past President of the local Realtor association as well as Women’s Council of Realtors and has served as Director and Secretary of the local association since 2008. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Realtors Association. Ken is active in committees at the local association and obtained his Broker license in 2021. They both take education seriously and have advanced real estate certifications and designations not commonly held by most Realtors (GRI, CRS, ABR, and SRS, to name a few). They live in Punta Gorda Isles and have only one dog at this time. They enjoy traveling to see their two grandchildren and their siblings, and boating/fishing whenever the opportunity arises!
