I grew up in a small town in NH, graduated High School and attended Plymouth State College. I worked for UPS for a number of years ending as a driver. While at UPS I created different advertising campaigns to promote their ground and overnight delivery sector. After leaving UPS in 2,000 I created a package tracking system for shippers to recover guaranteed monies the package carriers touted for late deliveries that were made. In 2002 we had an unexpected offer for our software solution that we sold and from there my wife and I moved to Florida. I enjoyed the process meeting people as I sold my home in Bedford NH so I thought I would get my license in Florida and give it a try professionally. I don't sell, I can't sell, when I've tried to sell people walk away from me so I just don't have that magic some do. My thing is I listen to my clients and if it's buyers I simply show them what they want to see, during the process I'll observe what they liked and didn't like and suggest other products or areas. If it's sellers I advise them on their market conditions, advise them on pricing and what stands out to me on what their house may need and how we should market it. My wife is also a Realtor, she has her clients and I have mine, many times we are competing for the same listings or making offers on the same homes. We're both hard workers, very competitive and it makes for interesting conversations at the dinner table but in these instances I find myself tossing and turning as I try to sleep on the living room sofa that evening.
