Sherrer is the Founder, President and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty (formerly Prudential Network Realty) in Jacksonville, Florida. As the founding broker, she has guided the company since its inception in 1988. Today, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty is one of the most dynamic and respected real estate firms in Northeast Florida with more than 325 agents, eight branch offices, a corporate relocation division, a new home and condominium sales division, a property management company, a title company, a referral company and is in a mortgage relationship with EverBank. During the past decade, the company has sold more than 35,000 homes valued at more than $9.3 billion. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty ranks as one of the Top 30 companies in the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network. In 1988, Sherrer was one of the original 10 members of the National Advisory Council of Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. In 1998, she was named Prudential Real Estate Affiliates' National Broker of the Year, a coveted award presented annually to one broker chosen from more than 14,000 Prudential real estate brokers throughout the nation. Sherrer is serving on the 2014 Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Luxury & Resort Advisory Council. Sherrer has received numerous honors for her achievements and dedication to the real estate industry and the Northeast Florida community including awards such as First Coast Business Hall of Fame, 2006; Ultimate CEO, 2006; UNF Distinguished Business Leader Award, 2011 and 2012; Top Women-Owned Businesses by the Jacksonville Business Journal and the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2014 Women of Influence Lifetime Achievement Award. Sherrer has served as a gubernatorial appointee to the Jacksonville International Airport Board of Directors, on the board of directors of the Florida Association of Realtors, as past president of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors and formerly held the position of Commodore at Epping Forest Yacht Club. Sherrer also served on the Jacksonville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Board of Directors for six years, including a term as chair. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices was created in 2012 as a new real estate brand majority-owned by HomeServices of America, Inc., an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway, and Brookfield Asset Management, which acquired Prudential Real Estate in 2011.
