When I think about "a front porch" my mind drifts back to younger days when family and friends gathered on the porch watching the kids run barefoot and happy. I think of the place where you could share your most personal thoughts and dreams, even a few tears, knowing that you were "safe" here....you were with those who truly cared for you. A place of rest and enjoyment, maybe a few guitars and a sing-a-long that made everyone feel special. It was a place to be intrigued by the old stories of the past.
