About Tyler

I was born and raised in Tampa. I have always felt that it is a great place to live because it has all the amenities of a big city, but it’s not so large that you feel lost in the crowd. Growing up, I was surrounded by the real estate profession, it’s the family business. My dad, Doug Loyd, started the brokerage in 1992. After attending USF where I graduated with a degree in economics, I joined my Dad, Brother and Sister in the family business. My studies in economics have afforded me a deep understanding of what makes the real estate market ‘tick’. I still marvel at how perfectly competitive the real estate market is, supply and demand reigns supreme. I enjoy being able to share my insights about the real estate market with my clients, how it applies to them, and how it may be used to their benefit. On a more personal note... I am an avid Tampa sports fan and have enjoyed living in a town that has 3 professional sport franchises. I have also had a life long interest in exquisite automobiles, (the faster the better). I have a green thumb and like working in the yard, the backyard is my favorite aspect of a home. I enjoy meeting and working with people of all backgrounds and interests, I’ve always considered myself a ‘people-person’ and I can get along with anyone.
