About Laura

I’m Laura McKenzie, a REALTOR® with Keller Williams Realty, proudly serving buyers, sellers, and investors throughout the Triad area of North Carolina. My experience in real estate began well before becoming a licensed REALTOR®. For years, my husband and I were actively involved in real estate investing—buying properties, renovating homes, and selling them. That hands-on experience gave me a strong understanding of property value, renovations, marketability, and the many factors that can make a property a smart investment. It also gave me a genuine love for real estate and ultimately led me to turn that experience into a career helping others achieve their own real estate goals. Today, I bring that practical experience to every transaction. Whether I’m helping a first-time buyer find the right home, guiding a seller through preparing and positioning their property for the market, or working with an investor to evaluate an opportunity, I approach each client’s goals with strategy, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to their best interests. Before becoming a REALTOR®, I spent 20 years as a registered nurse. That career taught me the importance of listening, communicating clearly, staying calm under pressure, and advocating for the people who place their trust in me—all qualities that have become an important part of the way I serve my real estate clients. As a Summerfield resident, I have a deep appreciation for the Triad and the communities that make this area such a wonderful place to call home. I believe real estate is about much more than a transaction. It’s about understanding your goals, protecting your interests, negotiating on your behalf, and making sure you feel informed and confident from our first conversation through closing and beyond. Outside of real estate, I’m actively involved in my church and love spending time with my husband and our two children. I also enjoy time at the farm, being outdoors, and the equestrian lifestyle.
