About Lisa

Lisa Maloney moved to Asheville in 2007 from Hilton Head, SC to give her daughters the opportunity to grow up with the lifestyle offered in Western North Carolina, Following a 21-year career in sales and marketing with IBM in New York and Atlanta, she wanted to follow her true passion – real estate. She enjoys building relationships with her clients whether they are selling or buying and loves “mentoring” other real estate professionals. She is a graduate of Leadership Asheville, a member of the Luxury Marketing Institute, WinDS (Women in Default Services) AREAA, and holds numerous REO and Short Sale Certifications. She affiliated Carolina Mountain Realty Group in April 2015 with eXp Realty due to its technology, leadership, and the accolades it was receiving in the industry. As an early adopter and innovator, she recognized that eXp was leading the market in offering brokers and clients the most innovative real estate services available. She has been a member of the Cliffs Communities since 2002 and enjoys golf and other outdoor activities. Most recently, she is a breast cancer survivor and hopes to inspire others on the journey. In 2017 she participated on Mission Hospital’s Cancer Advisory Board. In 2017, she launched “The Bridge Fund”, a non-profit focused on improving lives for people locally and around the world. A portion of all commissions are donated to “The Bridge Fund”. Her current passion is volunteering with the prison ministry at the Swannanoa Correctional Center for Women.
