He has taught negotiation strategy and buying and selling techniques to the Austin real estate community and holds the Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSI) and Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designations. Prior to focusing on real estate, John spent 16 years in communications and marketing positions for technology companies and public affairs organizations. He earned a BA in government from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. John is actively involved with the Meals on Wheels Groceries to Go program and SAFE. John grew up in Tucson, AZ and lives in Austin with his family.
