About Mark
I am a seasoned and trusted real estate expert with deep roots in the New Braunfels community. Licensed since the age of 18, I began my career as a property manager and apartment locator while earning a BA in Economics and an MBA. I then spent 30 successful years in corporate sales, earning numerous accolades and working closely with senior executives. Throughout my career, I nurtured a passion for real estate by investing in and flipping homes during corporate relocations. Despite my travels, as a native Texan, I always knew there was no place like home. Over the last 20 years, I have become an integral part of New Braunfels, dedicating my time to community development. From 2007 to 2013, I served as the City Councilperson for District 2 and Mayor Pro Tem, spearheading impactful projects such as: Das Rec The new City Hall building Landa Park Aquatic Center and Golf Course improvements Fischer Park and Mission Hill Park Fire stations and infrastructure upgrades I was instrumental in shaping major neighborhoods, working closely with developers to bring to life communities like: Veramendi Copper Ridge Stone Crossing The Preserve Pecan Crossing Newcombe Estates Town Creek Cotton Crossing Gruene Vineyard I also served as the first Chairman and President of the Creekside TIRZ, which introduced key developments such as Resolute Hospital, Buc-ee's, and major retailers to the area. If you have a question about how New Braunfels developed, I can probably answer it! A strong advocate for service, I have held leadership roles as President of the Southbank HOA and currently serve as President of the Newcombe Estates POA. I also volunteer with the Oakwood Church Men’s Ministry. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and pickleball.
