About Matthew

Matthew Gardner came to residential real estate from a previous career in the home building and remodeling industry. His expertise in construction comes into play nearly every day as he helps buyers find a new home and sellers to prepare their homes for sale. “My background is a valuable tool that allows me to help my buyers better evaluate the existing merits and future possibilities of a house; I am able to advise my sellers as to what needs to be done to make their home ready for sale – and ready to receive the best possible sales price.” An excellent negotiator, Matthew exhibits honesty, integrity, dedication, team spirit, a strong work ethic, technological expertise, and targeted market knowledge. He understands that market knowledge is essential to his success and to the success of his clients’ real estate transactions. Matthew was born in Houston and grew up in Topeka, Kansas. He attended Southern Methodist University and received a degree in divinity from Dallas Theological Seminary. When not working, Matthew volunteers with Center Street Ministries, a local nonprofit which feeds the homeless. He also assists with other ministries through his bible study class. Matthew enjoys biking and rode in the MS-150 in 2009. Other interests include travel, golf, and snow skiing. Matthew is single and the father of three adult children.
