About Rebecca

Rebecca Mast is an Austin-area REALTOR® with a background in marketing, public relations and entrepreneurship - and more than a decade of experience helping buyers, sellers and renters navigate the Central Texas real estate market. Originally from Wyoming, Rebecca’s path to Austin included stops in Northern Virginia and Costa Rica before her family put down roots in Cedar Park. She earned a Communications/PR degree from George Mason University and began her career with the Washington Redskins, where she learned a thing or two about managing details, juggling deadlines and keeping a lot of moving pieces moving in the same direction. After relocating to Austin, Rebecca began working behind the scenes managing listings and marketing for a top local REALTOR® before earning her own real estate license in 2014 and joining Avalar. Her marketing background gives her a particular eye for how a home is presented, while her organized, detail-oriented approach helps keep transactions on track from the first conversation through closing. More than anything, Rebecca is relationship-driven. She believes good real estate representation means listening carefully, communicating clearly and being willing to roll up her sleeves when something needs to get done. Whether working with a first-time buyer, preparing a home for market, negotiating a lease or helping longtime clients make their next move, she approaches every transaction as if it were her own. Having bought, sold and moved more than a few times herself, Rebecca understands that real estate is rarely just about the house - it’s usually tied to a much bigger life change. These days, that includes navigating a new chapter of her own as an empty nester with two sons in college. When she isn’t working, you’ll likely find her playing sand volleyball, attempting to join her husband on the golf course, at book club or craft club, traveling, or finding just about any excuse to get together with friends.
