About Drake
Drake Rufus is a Realtor with The Rufus Group - Brokered by eXp Realty, the Lynchburg team led by his parents, Jill and Jimmy Rufus. As a Lynchburg native and Liberty University graduate, Drake helps people buy and sell homes in Lynchburg, Forest and Bedford, Virginia. The team helps homeowners, builders and people who live out of town sell historic homes, new construction and inherited properties in Lynchburg, Forest and Bedford. If you live out of town, the team can help set up the estate sale, cleaning, repairs, staging and sale of the property for you. Drake also runs social media for The Rufus Group. In a six month span (October 2025 to March 2026), his posts reached 208,833 people and drew 852,643 views without paid ads, which helps put his sellers' homes in front of more buyers. Behind Drake, Jim, and Jill is a full team. The Rufus Group sold 153 homes in 2025, and Jill Rufus was the #1 individual agent for total homes sold in the 2025 Lynchburg MLS Ranking Report. The team sold all 103 townhomes at Heritage Pointe between August 2023 and April 2025 and sold an 1893 Rivermont Avenue home for $1,315,000 in 7 days, which was $20,000 above asking. The Rufus Group has a transaction coordinator, handymen, and a staging specialist that support every sale.
